Beading

Just a few of my beading projects. I belong to a Facebook group called Seed Beads and More. Every month there is a different beading theme. Plus a few other techniques I have had fun learning.

I have this old foot stool that the Grandkids just love to haul around and play with. The only problem is the sawdust falls out of the bottom :-(  I have seen one recovered where they put a huge "button" on the top. Do you think I can find it again? On the hunt.........

Quilted Wallhanging made from a kit from Connecting Threads. My front door needed some brightening up!

June bearing strawberries, finally after a couple of years of my old patch being flooded out continuously and killed off, and a new patch created.

Summer Time 2012

Where has the summer gone? Sure has been a busy one! We purchased a 2 bedroom trailer on a lake and I spent most of my time there and doing a lot of stitching! Of course I have a sewing
machine and a serger here too!

I caught a 18" bass!
The Grandkids had fun playing at the lake.

It was a great time to learn how to make penny rugs. These are my first ones.

Of course I had to make a couple of dresses for my Granddaughter Katie...I have only had these patterns since she was first born, she is now 3, so I guess I am a little behind

This is a heavy duty wood cabinet I picked up at an auction for $2.50, I decided to go girly and painted the base pink and added new hardware.  My embroidery machine sits securely on top, drawer stores my hoops, manuals and accessories. Behind the doors I store my stabilizers.

Aprons! The Cupcake one is a panel from Wal Mart, I used it as a pattern to make a couple more.

Shoulder Baby Burp Pads made with flannel material on one side, and a cloth diaper on the other.

Have been doing a couple upholstery projects, my boss "finds" these things and brings them to me
to put some new life into them. Then we put them in the store and hope they sell.  The settee has already sold, the rocker is waiting for a new home.

April 2011

I have neglected my blog long enough. Trying to get caught up on many things that I have put on hold.

Not to say that I haven't been busy crafting still:

Purchased this quilt top from e-bay and tied it, my first ever tied quilt

I now have a larger spot in the store and am selling Watkins products and Themed Rubber Ducks along with my craft items.

Lots of Machine Embroidery, the 2 Horse pictures are from http://www.bfc-creations.com/

Springtime Birds are from http://www.embroiderygarden.com/store/ the fish one is one I created using different fish designs.

Some fun Sparkle Bracelets and Domino Necklaces.

These were a custom order I did, the lady brought in an old robe and wanted some bunny heads and eggs with buttons that she could hang.

Playing around with glass blocks, lights, decorative ribbon and Mod Podge.
